📧 Changes in reviews

Dear Business Partners,

We want to inform you about several changes related to customer reviews.. The changes will appear on the Slevomat website and in the partner interface as early as 4 January 2023. 

What is the change about?

We've adjusted how we calculate the average bid and business rating to reflect customer satisfaction better.

What are the main changes?

1) We will pay more attention to newer reviews

If you have many reviews from the past years, we will calculate the average rating using the reviews from the last three years. Have you received worse reviews in the past and subsequently worked on the quality of services, which was also reflected in positive customer reviews? In this case, we will not include the old reviews in the average rating. However, we will not hide them, so it will be possible to find them.

2) Evaluation of the provided service from multiple points of view

You can find reviews whose rating has a decimal number in the partner interface for several weeks now.. For example, 3.5 stars instead of the previous 3 or 4 stars. This is due to the fact that customers have been able to evaluate offers from several different points of view for several months now. The evaluated areas differ for each offer category.

An example is a restaurant review where the customer evaluated the staff, food, environment and the booking process. The staff, food and environment received 5 stars, the customer gave 3 stars for the booking process. The average is equal to 4.5 stars. And it is precisely such an offer evaluation that we will newly include in the average evaluation of the offer/partner without rounding.

Display in the partner interface

In your partner interface, under the Summary rating at the beginning of the page, you will find the "Detailed rating" section, showing the average rating of your business according to individual criteria. This section will not appear if your business has not enough reviews yet. A detailed rating can also be displayed at the level of a specific review, if the review contains it.
