Head of Deals Management
The Head of Deals Management is a pivotal leadership role at Slevomat Group. With responsibility for the partner offer, deals management operates much like category management, with a focus on selecting and optimizing offers to best attract our customers.
The role is essential for the strategic management and optimization of offers across all markets (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Spain, Italy, Croatia). This position leads and coordinates Deals Management Leads in each market to ensure that offers are attractive, competitive, and deliver maximum group profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Group-Level Deals Strategy:
- Define and implement the overall deals strategy for all markets.
- Conduct international market and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
- Develop and implement standardized processes for creation, optimizing deals and improving efficiency across all markets.
- Ensure consistency and quality of deals across all markets.
Leadership and Coordination of Heads of Deals Management:
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Heads of Deals Management in each market.
- Set goals and monitor the performance of deals management at the market level.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between markets, sharing best practices.
Group-Level Key Partner Relationships:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners operating across multiple markets.
- Negotiate framework agreements and ensure mutual satisfaction.
- Identifying and sharing opportunities with the sales team to grow the offering.
Group-Level Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor key metrics and analyze deals performance at the group level.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management (Chief Revenue Officer, CEO).
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes at the group level aiming to streamline processes (especially with AI adoption and automation).
- Communication with the IT and DEV teams, providing documentation for the implementation of new functions and system improvements.
- Communication with the finance, sales, and marketing departments to ensure alignment between offers and business goals.
- Providing consultation for problem resolution, comprehensively overseeing implemented changes, and ensuring the smooth flow of processes.
Group-Level Cross-Vertical Collaboration:
- Work closely with Team Leaders across verticals (travel, restaurants, wellness, etc.) at the group level to ensure effective deals management.
- Facilitate seamless communication and information sharing between verticals and markets.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience with senior leadership role.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams in an international environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret complex data.
- Deep understanding of the e‑commerce and marketplace business model on an international scale.
- Strategic thinking and ability to define and implement effective strategies.
- Results-oriented and proactive approach.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), Czech or Slovak
- Knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
- Experience in change management and implementing new processes including AI and automation.
