I am very disappointed by the organization and the attention received both from Cedok and Slevomat.
1. Neither of the two parties was able to clarify or resolve doubts before the trip. Cedok referred to Slevomat and Slevomat to Cedok (flight info almost 3 days before, hotel 2 days before, and because we repeatedly requested it to manage the visa, itinerary details, etc.)
2. The described itinerary was changed in order by the Cedok guide, Bishoy Emil, when we arrived in Hurghada, causing us to lose money because we had already organized excursions on the days and time specified as free.
3. The price was 14900ck/person, when we paid, the voucher specified an obligatory cost of $250 and $40 in tips. Neither Cedok nor Slevomat could justify what was included in this obligatory extra amount, not informed before the purchase. Moreover, tips have always been optional, not something imposed as obligatory.
4. The guide, Bishoy Emil, made us take a restricted route for tourists from Hurghada to Aswan, making us hide in the bus like refugees instead of paying the respective permits to travel safely.
5. It is true that neither my partner nor I speak Czech, but I do not consider it justified that for this reason the guide, Bishoy Emil, knowing English, excluded us and barely gave us important information about the trip; sometimes we had to ask repeatedly.
6. Bishoy Emil took us to a perfume shop not included in the tour, considered a tourist trap, just to earn commission from sales, and therefore, there was no time to visit the botanical park that was on the itinerary. On the last day, to try to make up for it, he took us to Banana Island.
In conclusion, the worst experience I have ever had with a travel agency. I will never travel with Cedok again.
